Circular Economy Leadership Canada founded and co-hosted the Canadian Circular Economy Summit (CCES) in 2023 and 2025, in collaboration with Circular Innovation Council.  CCES brought together thought leaders from industry and the public sector to actively advance projects, investments, actions, and inform policies to accelerate the implementation of the circular economy in Canada.

This major bi-annual event provided opportunities for circular economy champions to come together in-person, share leading efforts and activities, and identify the solutions, innovations, and cross-sectoral collaborations necessary for accelerating the transition to a circular economy in Canada.

The first CCES event took place in June 2023 in Toronto (view the CCES 2023 website and Summary Report). The second event (CCES 2025) brought together nearly 1,000 delegates to Montreal in April 2025 (view the CCES 2025 website and Summary Report).
