On July 18, Alice Irene Whittaker, Director of Communications at Smart Prosperity Institute and the Circular Economy Leadership Coalition, spoke with CBC News Network host Natasha Fatah for a televised segment on how the COVID-19 pandemic is reshaping the world and bolstering calls for a more circular economy.

Whittaker discussed hot-button issues such a fast fashion and food production and waste, and outlined how we must seize the opportunity presented by a circular economy to enhance social, environmental, and economic well-being to make us more resilient in a post-COVID world.
